¿Por qué creamos este currículo?
Durante años, invertí millones de wones en inglés: academias en Gangnam, Hongdae y mi barrio, cursos en línea famosos, apps de inglés, clases por videollamada... casi todos los métodos posibles. Pero lo único que me quedaba era la frustración de pensar: 'El inglés es realmente difícil'.
Memorizaba gramática, memorizaba vocabulario, y volvía a memorizar. Escuchaba la misma explicación decenas de veces, pero a la hora de hablar, no me salía ni una frase correctamente. Después de encontrarme con innumerables estudiantes que chocaban con la misma pared, tuve una certeza.
El problema no era el estudiante, sino el método de aprendizaje en sí. Por eso, desarmé el idioma inglés desde cero. '¿Por qué esta estructura es así?' '¿Realmente tengo que memorizar tantas reglas?' — Esa fue la razón por la que empecé a analizar el mecanismo del inglés desde la perspectiva de un desarrollador.
Después de analizar cada oración viendo videos de nativos y su contexto, me di cuenta. El inglés funciona con una cantidad sorprendentemente pequeña de estructuras.
